We do not like the tendency for newcomers to lean only on a model and skip flow design which leads to unpredictable behavior. It could be better with more first party blueprints for common enterprise patterns such as authenticated account lookup, secure payment intents, and multilingual routing. What we found interesting is the way versioned flows and analytics create an iterative loop that looks like modern product development rather than a marketing experiment. On security the model is sound as long as you apply the same standards you use for microservices. Control secrets, isolate environments, and review data paths for personally identifiable information. Botpress is for teams that must own their assistant logic and connect it to systems of record. Its strength is disciplined orchestration with integrations, its weakness is that it still demands thoughtful conversation and data design to shine.
